Not much is known about Richard J. Lewis. He was born in born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

CareerEdit

Lewis is best known for directing the films Whale Music (1994) and Barney's Version (2010), the latter featuring a Golden Globe winning performance by actor Paul Giamatti.

From 2002 to 2009, he worked on the CBS television crime drama series, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as writer, director and co-executive producer.

Lewis' other television credits include Westworld, Person of Interest, Designated Survivor, North of 60 and Superboy.

In 2018, Lewis directed an episode of the ABC series, A Million Little Things.[1]
